Examples of the many virtual sets I have made for the Newtek Tricaster Liveset Platform.

while seamlessly putting the presenter inside the virtual set.

Animated Films
Working with Studio Once and Future, the Guild TV handled all the VFX and Character animation for this
Christmas film for shoe-designer christian Louboutin. I match-moved the shots and created the image-based lighting,
then added in the Christmas Decoration characters, with Once and Future Directing the film and compositing.

Live-Action Directing and animating
This was a chance to direct some live action comedy to pitch an idea of mine to a comedy channel.
I Co-directed this with Martin Stacey. We shot the footage and did the sets and costumes.
I did the 3D animation and Martin composited and edited.
It was great to work with Tom Rosenthal, Eric Lampaert and Naz Osmanoglu, who wrote and improvised scripts for this pitch.

Working with Fellow Collective I modeled and rendered a range of Christian Louboutin products.
I made accurate 3D models of the bags and shoes.
Each stitch, each piece of decoration and each panel of leather was reproduced in
3D to produce hyper-real stills and animation of the products.
Client – Fellow Collective - Christian Louboutin
Augmented Reality
This is an example of using Augmented reality to
showcase a product or process, in this case cockroach pest control.

Creative Code and Animation for the Olympic Ceremonies
As part of the team at CrystalCG, led by art Director Kate Dawkins I had the fantastic opportunity to create content for the audience pixel display.
As well as conventional 3D animation I built audio and video-reactive creative code systems to make animations used on the pixels.
I am responsible for parts of the content in this video, more specifics to follow.
Note in in particular: the first 40 seconds, in which type and imagery was manipulated by the audio waveforms and a midi control surface
and an interactive camera system.

Creative Coding for the Adidas Lab
I joined the team at Kin-Design to help put create an interactive, real-time data visualisation experience.
As the participants took the ball down the 15 meter Astroturf track, I used three Kinect sensors to analyse
speed power and agility and create “data trails” to visualise athletic performance. Results and a video of each player’s experience were relayed to an interactive scoreboard, and uploaded to social media.
My role was to code a realtime animation system that created graphics from the kinect data and composited it, real-time onto 3 x HD video streams with audio. I was also involved with the technical aspects of the site installation and hardware and software integration.
Client: Kin Design
This is an example of content I created for a 3D
volumetric display made up from 100,000 led pixels.
I used full body motion-capture of actors to create
volumetric asnaimation to go on this larger-than life display

Coding for a Kinetic Sculpture at MCCGLC
The team at MCCGLC were responsible for this Kinetic sculpture, made fromn 324 metal balls, each controlled by a programmable stepper motor system.
I coded a simple system to take images and turn them into code that the sculpture could understand.
